Interior PaintingDrywall repair · Charlotte & 20 miles around
Holes, cracks, nail pops, settling seams and damaged sections — patched, finished, texture-matched and painted so the repair disappears into the wall.
One hole under 2 ft × 2 ft, patched, finished, texture-matched and painted. Materials included. Most are done in a single visit.
Anyone can fill a hole. The reason most patches still look like patches is texture. Charlotte homes are mostly knockdown, orange peel or a light hand texture, and if the patch is smooth where the wall is textured, your eye finds it instantly — especially in daylight from the side.
We match the surrounding texture before we paint, then paint corner to corner or to a natural break so there's no halo of fresh paint sitting in the middle of an older wall. That last part matters more than people expect: a perfectly matched patch can still be obvious if it's painted as a square.
A single hole with matched texture and paint is usually one visit. Larger repairs, or anything where the drywall has to dry out first, get a schedule up front so you know what's happening and when. If a repair needs two visits because a compound coat has to cure overnight, we tell you that before we start, not after.
Patching is almost always cheaper and faster, and for holes, cracks and pops it's the right call. Replacement makes sense when a sheet is soft from moisture, when there's mold behind it, or when the damage covers most of a panel — at that point cutting out the sheet is less work than trying to save it. We'll tell you which one you're looking at when we come out, and we'll tell you if you don't need us at all.

Questions people ask
Small repairs start at our $299 patch and paint special, which covers one hole under about two feet by two feet including materials, texture matching and paint. Bigger jobs are quoted after we see them — the price depends on how many spots, how much texture matching is involved, and whether the ceiling is popcorn. The estimate is free and written, so there are no surprises.
Yes — knockdown, orange peel, splatter and most hand textures. Texture matching is the part that decides whether a repair is invisible or obvious, so it's the part we spend the most time on. Popcorn ceilings are matchable too, though on an older popcorn ceiling we'll often recommend removing it entirely rather than chasing a match.
We paint. That's the point of hiring us instead of a drywall-only crew — one company patches, finishes, matches the texture and paints, so nobody blames anybody else if a seam telegraphs through. If you'd rather have your own painter finish, we'll leave it sanded and primed.
Usually within a few days for the estimate, and often the same week for the work. Call (704) 989-1087 and we'll tell you honestly what the schedule looks like rather than promising same-day and not showing.
For a nail hole, a tub of spackle from the hardware store is genuinely fine. Past that, the two things that go wrong for homeowners are the mud shrinking so the patch sinks below the wall, and the texture not matching. Both are fixable, but fixing a failed patch usually costs more than doing it right the first time.
Yes. We cut out the damaged drywall, replace it, finish it and paint it. One important note: we repair the damage, we don't fix the leak. The plumbing or roof has to be sorted first, otherwise the new drywall fails the same way the old drywall did.
