Charlotte houses have a texture problem

Most of the metro was built in three big waves — the 1950s and 60s inside the loop, the 1980s and 90s out toward the suburbs, and the mid-2000s subdivisions past that. Each wave used different wall texture, so a patch that blends perfectly in a Ballantyne house looks obviously wrong in Plaza Midwood. Older neighborhoods
